-- Performed at Downes Elementary School's Fun Fair to help raise money for the school's PTA.

-- Assisted with making and signing over 120 birthday cards to help a young cancer victim reach a dying wish of breaking a world record.
-- Provided face painting for youngsters at Aldersgate United Methodist Church during their Spring Celebration.

-- Performed for St. Mark's UMC Community Day celebration, raising enough funds to purchase mosquito nets for seven African families through the Malaria No More Foundation.
July
-- Performed the National Anthem at the Wilmington Blue Rocks game and provided free face painting to youngsters in attendance.
-- Performed for the 2nd Annual Sunflower Benefit Cabaret, which raised funds for the Sunflower Orphanage in Peru.

-- Performed the National Anthem for the Wilmington Blue Rocks (again) and provided free face painting to youngsters in attendance. Unsolicited donations received from this event, in addition to our appearance in July, enabled us to donate over $100 to the local Ronald McDonald House.
-- Assisted at the 2007 Delaware AIDS Walk by providing face painting and puppet play to walkers and their families. Also raised $250 for AIDS Delaware.

-- Fourteen members of IP took a day off from school and formed the 1st Annual Holiday Goodwill Concert Tour -- providing holiday cheer and entertainment to Aldersgate Preschool, Aldersgate Montessori Preschool, Babes on the Square Preschool-Foulkstone Plaza, Manor Care Nursing Home, Franciscan Health Care Center, and Babes on the Square Preschool-Trolley Square.
-- Provided holiday cheer by performing a complete concert for the residents of Kentmere Nursing Home.
2008 in review ...
January 
-- Held first official open auditions and added close to twenty new members to the group!
March
-- Nineteen members utilized a day of their spring break to form the 1st annual Spring Break Goodwill Tour, visiting and performing at Babes on the Square Preschool, The Ronald McDonald House, A.I. DuPont Hopsital Employee daycare, and Babes on the Square Too Preschool.
April
-- Performed for "High School Musical Day" at The Wilmington Blue Rocks game at Frawley Stadium. Also ran a face painting table which raised $75 in donations for The Sunflower Orphanage!
May
-- Performed for the annual Mother/Daughter Banquet at St. Mark's UMC, which raised an additional $25 in unexpected donations for The Sunflower Orphanage!
-- Peformed for St. Mark's UMC's annual Community Day Festival.
-- Offered community service (face painting, story time, puppet play) at The North Wilmington Library's Family Flea Market. $75 raised for Read Aloud Delaware!
-- Performed at The Wilmington Blue Rocks game on the Friday of Memorial Day Weekend -- presenting "We Celebrate America" and "God Bless America" and handing out complimentary flags to those in attendance. Offered face painting services which raised $75 in donations for the U.S.O. (United Service Organization).

-- Performed for the annual Cancer Survivor's Dinner at St. Mark's UMC
July
-- Performed at the 3rd Annual Sunflower Benefit Cabaret (opening and closing the show, as well as providing singers for several other featured numbers) which raised in excess of $5000 for the Sunflower Orphanage in Peru.
-- Fifteen members used a day of their summer vacation to participate in the IP Summer Fun Goodwill Tour, singing for St. Paul's UMC Christian Youth Camp, Babes on the Square Too Preschool, Absolom Jones Senior Center, and Our Lady of Grace Children's Home.

-- Performed a full concert for the residents of Methodist Country House in Greenville!
-- Performed The National Anthem at The Wilmington Blue Rocks game and raised another $65 in unsolicitied donations with their face painting services. Donations were given to an IP family who experienced a tragic family emergency.

-- Performed at the Four Centuries Fete in Wilmington in an effort to raise awareness and restoration funds for the historic Old Swedes Church.
-- Volunteered at the Delaware AIDS Walk (doing face painting, walking around with puppets, etc.). Also had a team in the walk (Go Team IP!) who raised in excess of $500 for AIDS Delaware.

-- Added six new members to the group, bringing our membership to 52 performers!
April
-- 20+ members spent a day of their Spring Break to take part in the 2nd Annual IP Spring Break Goodwill Tour, where we visited and performed for A.I. duPont Children's Hospital, Absolom Jones Senior Center, Somerford House and Somerford Place.
-- Performed as part of The Wilmington Blue Rocks' "Disney Tribute Day" while raising $100 for the Delaware Children's Theatre with their facepainting services at the game!
May
-- Performed for the second year at St. Mark's UMC's Mother/Daughter Banquet.
-- Fourteen members of IP (ages 12-17) attended the B.L.A.S.T. (Building Leaders and Strong Teens) Conference at Wesley College in Dover.
-- Member of IP offered facepainting services at The Wilmington Blue Rocks' Military Appreciation Night, raising close to $100 for Boots on the Ground.

-- IP members say goodbye and good luck to one their senior members, Kevin Shotwell, as he heads off to become a cast member of "Bye Bye Birdie" on Broadway!

-- The Imagination Players make their seventh appearance at Frawley Stadium, performing pre-game and providing face painting before the game was called due to rain.
-- Added 14 new members to the group!
September
-- Twelve IP members were selected by audition to star as munchkins in the National Touring Company Production of "The Wizard of Oz" at the DuPont Theatre!
-- Performed for the second consecutive year at the Four Centuries Fete, a fundraiser for the historic Holy Trinity (Old Swedes) Church in Wilmington.
-- Made our third consecutive appearance at the Delaware AIDS-Walk ... providing free face painting to walkers and entertaining children with puppets. Team IP also walked in the event and raised close to $500 for AIDS-Delaware.
-- The Imagination Players presented a $150.00 donation check to The Delaware Children's Theatre. This money was raised during our face painting events at the Blue Rocks games in April and September.

-- Twelve IP members made their professional stage debuts as munchkins in the National Touring Company Production of "The Wizard of Oz" at the DuPont Theatre!
November
-- Performed "Heal the World" for A Youth Tribute to Michael Jackson at The Wilmington Drama League. The event raised money for The American Cancer Society and The Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. In addition, The Imagination Players organized a lemonade stand in the theatre lobby which raised $250+ for the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer.

-- Made our third appearance at New Castle County's Holiday Open House at Rockwood Park!
-- Made our second appearance performing and volunteering at the Snack With Santa party for families at A.I. duPont Hospital for Children.

2010 in review ...
January
-- Entertained at The Newark Free Library for "Family Fun Night". Donated our stipend to earthquake ravaged Haiti.
February
-- Celebrated our THIRD BIRTHDAY with a fun family bowling party! Good times!
-- Competed in the IN THE SPOTLIGHT competition at The Baby Grand, winning the title of 1st runners up and moving on the finals in April at The Grand Opera House!
April
-- 25 members participated in the 3rd Annual Spring Break Goodwill Tour, performing at two Babes on the Square Preschool and Child Care Centers, Cadia Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, and Little Sister of the Poor.
-- Hit the beautiful stage of The Grand Opera House to compete in the finals of the IN THE SPOTLIGHT competition. Although we didn't win, it was an AMAZINGLY AWESOME experience. Special thanks to our friends from Little Sisters of the Poor for coming out to support us!

-- A small ensemble of IP members performed at St. Anthony's Italian Festival!

-- Performed on field at The Blue Rocks game and raised $167 through donations & facepainting, which was donated to Tri-State Bird Rescue in their efforts to help the wildlife affected by the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
-- Presented a special encore performance for our friends at the Jeanne Jugan Residence of Little Sisters of the Poor.
-- Several members of The Imagination Players ventured to New York City with J. Alexander Productions to take part in a song/dance workshop taught by Steven Taylor and S'Bu, cast members of Broadway's The Lion King. In addition, members got to see the Tony award winning musical, Memphis and have dinner with members of their cast!
August
-- Many IP members took a day of their summer vacation to take part in the Summer Goodwill Tour ... visiting Children of America Childcare Center in Hockessin, Absolom Jones Senior Center, Millcroft Nursing Home, and the Jewish Community Center.
-- Performed on the "Get Up and Move" stage at The Chase Center as part of the City of Wilmington's Kids Fest event.
-- Performed outside Frawley Stadium and provided facepainting during a Wilmington Blue Rocks game to get donations for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer.
-- Was asked to perform a 90 minute outdoor show on Market Street Mall as part of the Grand Opera House Salon Series, where we not only performed, but set up an Alex's Lemonade Stand to raise funds for childhood cancer research.
-- Held annual auditions where for the first time ever, we were forced to turn talented folks away. :( But we were very excited by the interest in our group and the new members we gained!
September
-- 17 new members started with The Imagination Players, bringing our new total membership to a whopping 60!
-- We performed a special 9/11 Concert on the Freeman Stage at Bayside in the Fenwick area.
-- Assisted/walked for the 4th consecutive year at the Delaware AIDS Walk, raising over $300 in donations.

-- Participated for the first time in the JDRF Walk, raising over $100 in donations.
-- A small ensemble of IP members performed at the mural dedication in the Little Italy area of Wilmington.

-- Decorated two trees and performed for the Festival of Trees at Cokesbury Village ... a huge fundraiser for Delaware Hospice.
-- IP members and families took their first-ever trip to NYC to not only see Elf on Broadway, but to also take part in a song/dance workshop taught by Kate Chapman of the Broadway cast of Mary Poppins.

-- Made our 4th consecutive appearance at the Rockwood Holiday Open House, performing to a standing room only crowd.
-- Caroled in the cold as part of the Reindeer Run in Newark, a fundraiser for Delaware Special Olympics.
-- Performed and assisted at the A.I. DuPont Hospital for Children's Snack With Santa for the 3rd consecutive year.
-- Fourteen talented IP members were selected to perform in the National Touring Company production of Handel's Messiah Rocks during the show's 8-performance run at The DuPont Theatre.
-- Caroled at Arasapha Farms in Glen Mills, PA as part of their Holiday Hayride event.
-- Prepared a special VIP holiday concert for our friends at the Jeanne Jugan Residence of Little Sisters of the Poor.
-- 24 IP members took a day from school to participate in the 4th Annual Holiday Goodwill Tour, performing for Imaginations Childcare at Christiana Hospital, Somerford House Assisted Living Center, Somerford Place Alzheimer's/Dementia Center, Anna P. Mote Elementary School, and Limestone Hills Day School.

-- Forty IP members used their President's Day Holiday to plan the 1st ever "Beat The Winter Blues" Goodwill Tour, visiting friends at C.E.R.T.S. Adult Action Center, Evergreen Center One, and A.I. DuPont Children's Hospital.

-- Provided manpower at Windcrest Animal Hospital's "Flea Market for the Animals"
-- Performed at and visited with folks at Millcroft Nursing Home, C.E.R.T.S. Adult Action Center, Willa Road Children's Center, and Little Sisters of the Poor as part of the 4th annual Spring Break Goodwill Tour.

-- Performed with students of the Transitional Partnership Project in collaboration with VSA-Delaware's Celebration of Creativity.
-- Raised funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's GREAT STRIDES Walk.

-- Organized our very first FOR KIDS' SAKE FOLLIES and raised in excess of $1200 for our three chosen charities -- B+ Foundation, Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware, and Ronald McDonald House of Delaware
-- Held our 2011 auditions and added 18 new members to the group!
-- FINALLY got to perform at The Blue Rocks game without rain! We also presented a $500 check to the Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation on field and raised a record $140 for Rainbows for Rachel with our face painting table.

-- Provided 'Kids' Korner' activities and performed at Kids' Runway for Research event for Childhood Cancer Research.
-- Provided 'Kids' Korner' activities at the Wilmington CureSearch Walk. Our team (Imagine a Cure) of walkers also raised $1,215.00 for childhood cancer research!

-- Provided manpower at the Wilmington AIDS Walk, creating balloon animals, doing face painting, and cheering on walkers! It was our 5th consecutive year helping out at the AIDS Walk!
-- Organized and performed in the Rainbows for Rachel Benefit concert at Forest Oak Elementary School, an event which raised over $3,500 for cancer patient Rachel Gambrill. www.RainbowsForRachel.org

-- Decorated a "Rainbows for Rachel" holiday tree for Delaware Hospice's Festival of Trees event in honor of our friend Rachel Gambrill
